We have 4 classrooms here at Monkton Church of England Primary School.

Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 all benefit from the following features:

  • ICT and smartboards for interactive and engaging learning
  • Reading Corners with a great variety of up-to-date books, both fictional and non-fiction
  • Bright and easy to read displays full of vocabulary and helpful tips so children can use them if needed

The classrooms have been set up and arranged to ensure that there are optimal learning opportunities for the children. The learning environment is comfortable and supportive without being over-bearing on the children. Children who do find a classroom environment too stimulating can also use our Acorn Room - an extra space in school where children can go if they feel it will help them focus and sustain concentration.
